Going to Krakow this weekend

And staying at the "Momotown" hostel.

Should be awesome.

Oh my gosh! I'm so pleased that you are able to make it to the homeland. You grandfather Danies would have been so pleased. The town where he was born is not far from there.

Much of last night's episode of "Amazing Race" took place in Krakow. The locals seemed a bit dour and no one seemed to speak any English, so brush up on your Polish and Good Luck.

Make the most of the experience.

Love,
MOM

It doesn't get any better than "The Momotown"! I am so excited that you are able to make the trip as it would be a shame to be so close to your grandfather's homeland and not see it.

Have a great time.

Love You,

"Momo"

Speaking of Grandpa Danies, what is the name of the town he was born in? If it's easy to get to we might try and make it there.

I'm not sure of the name. I'll put you dad in charge of finding out.

For sure I will want to talk to you on the phone before you leave so that I can get your travel details. Let me know, via email or text or something, when a good time to call will be. Now that you are only 7 hours ahead, it's a little easier to call you when I get home from work.

I hope your Easter package arrives before you leave. It should, but USPS has let me down before. I have my fingers crossed.

Love,
MOM

Andrew,
Their are two towns to look for in the Krakow area: Zator and Mzana (maybe Msana). I don't believe Grandpa was born in either of those towns but I think he might have lived in one or both. He was actually born in an area that is now Ukraine. Have a good time and take plenty of pictures. Remember, you're representing the homeland!
